Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and Its Impact Water Governance

Brief Overview

The effects of the UN-promoted IWRM approach on water governance are tested using panel data that cover 162 countries. The results show positive effects on basic water services, but reveal no significant effects on water stress levels.
