From Reddit to Congressional Hearings: A Study of Representation using an Argument Extraction Method

Brief Overview

We study representation at the argument level by matching arguments made in Reddit, an online deliberative forum, to those made in U.S. House committee hearings and analyzing which communities of interest are heard during the lawmaking processes.
