Do Judicial Policy Wins from an Out-Party Judge Affect Affective Polarization?

Sat, April 5, 11:40am to 1:10pm CDT (11:40am to 1:10pm CDT), Palmer House Hilton, Floor: 3rd, Salon 6

Brief Overview

This project uses a survey experiment to investigate whether receiving a policy win from an out-party judge reduces affective polarization. As such, we speak to ongoing debates about the causes of polarization and how it can be reduced.
