Personality Traits and Elite Foreign Policy Preferences: Evidence from the Survey of Russian Elites

Brief Overview

Using data from the Russian Elite Survey 2016, we show that conscientiousness and agreeableness correlate with conservative and aggressive foreign policy preferences among Russian elites, while neuroticism correlates with cooperative preferences.
