Backlash or Solidarity: The Spatial Effect of War-Displaced Ukrainians on Voting for the Populist Radical Right in Estonia

Brief Overview

Using a novel spatial modeling strategy, I test the effect of Ukrainian refugees in Estonia on voting behavior. I find significant evidence that spatial spillovers along commuting networks contributed to less support for the far-right party.
