Gender, Education, and Political Violence: Linking Gender Inequality in Education Access and Literacy to Terrorism Dynamics

Brief Overview

In this study, I theorize how literacy rates and education access for girls and boys can create nonlinear impacts on terrorism. I develop brief case studies on Boko Haram, Al Shabaab, and Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam as tests of the theory.
