Voting Behavior, Blame, Divided Federalism in Crime Times in Mexico

Brief Overview

By using survey data of voting behavior in Mexico, I show that the effects of perceptions of crime on voting are restricted by divided federalism. These effects are higher when the president and the governor belong to different parties.
