Strategic Environment and the Legal Resolution of Territorial Disputes

Brief Overview

When do states pursue legal methods to resolve territorial disputes? I argue that states choose legal means when involved in few territorial disputes, especially if disadvantaged externally. The claim is tested using the 1946-2015 data.
