No Rest for the Partisans: Sleep Quality and Affective Polarization

Thu, April 23, 11:40am to 1:10pm CDT (11:40am to 1:10pm CDT), TBA

Brief Overview

We examine sleep and affective polarization in a 50-state U.S. survey. We find no associations with sleep duration or chronotype. We find that sleep restlessness has a U-shaped relationship: poor or excellent sleep predict heightened polarization.
