Transgender Rights as a Wedge Issue

Brief Overview

Studies show that older people, conservatives, and Republicans are more likely to support anti-trans rights policies. However, a non-trivial subset of Democrats also support these policies. I argue that trans rights act as a wedge issue on Democrats.
