Brief Overview

Using polling microdata from the Philippines from 2012 to 2022, we show how new upwardly-mobile yet precarious classes paved way for the electoral victories of Rodrigo Duterte and Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in their 2016 and 2022 election campaigns.
