Brief Overview

This study examines the effect of ethnic conflicts on electoral behavior by comparatively analyzing the Shining Path (Sendero Luminoso) insurgency in Peru and Kurdish PKK insurgency in Turkey,by employing aggregate-level conflict and electoral data.
