In a follow up study examining college students perceptions of peer on peer bullying and educator student bullying, this study further examines student’s experiences with bully behavior in high school and high school related events between students and/or adults affiliated with the high school through the use of a questionnaire. In the previous study, small focus groups consisting of college students were interviewed and transcripts created. A survey was constructed around student responses and current literature and administered to students currently enrolled in teacher education classes. Data were recently collected and are being analyzed. Analysis will include an examination of the various responses to bullying, types of bullying behaviors, bully targets, bully justifications, bully outcomes, and observations of peer on peer bullying as well as teacher/coach bullying. The psychometrics of the newly constructed questionnaire exploring student’s experiences with high school bullying will be explored and established.
