Fri, October 18, 9:20 to 10:30am, The Graduate Hotel and Conference Center, Leonard Baehr

Abstract

This analysis aims to further evaluate the relationships between race, gender, self-esteem, and Adverse Childhood Experiences on students getting into trouble in school. Data from The National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health wave 1 (1994), a nationally representative sample (n= 4,760) will be analyzed using a standard multiple regression. Our independent variables are race, gender, self- esteem, and number of ACEs, and our dependent variable being trouble in school.
