The proposed Best Practice Forum will present a Research-Partnership Partnerships (RPPs) model that features practitioner-driven Collaborative Action Research (CAR) highlighting a P-12 school-university partnership. Partnered with university faculty, this innovative effort engaged 2024 Ohio Teachers of the Year for Ohio State Board Districts in the development and conduct of CAR projects focused on improving teaching and student learning. Launched in 2013, over 190 action research projects have been conducted. This year, thirteen P-12 practitioners collaborated with thirteen university faculty to complete the CAR projects. In this session, we will briefly introduce this model, feature three CAR projects conducted by three CAR teams, discuss the impact of CAR, and engage the audience by discussing lessons learned, challenges encountered, and implications of using teacher-driven action research as a meaningful and effective model as a successful model for PD.
