Abstract

The research explores university faculty knowledge and attitudes about understanding equity gaps and their ability to enact equity pedagogies to close equity gaps. Utilizing Innovation Diffusions Theory, the research underscores significant contractions in faculty understanding of equity gaps and their competence to enact equity pedagogies. Analysis highlights the need for tailored, multimodal, and discipline-specific professional development.
