Summary

Outdoor learning is a promising practice for rural educators seeking to capitalize on students’ prior experiences and knowledge of nature while simultaneously providing opportunities for connections to science. This poster illustrates an empirical study that examined the ways teachers integrate the local natural environment into their rural science instruction.
