Summary

Our research suggests educative supports—designed to (1) promote teacher and student learning, (2) increase benefits, and (3) reduce barriers—enabled the successful implementation of school-based citizen science in our sample of 54 fifth-grade teachers. Learn more about this novel approach and why it is well suited to advance EE in K–12 settings.
