Summary

Anxious? Stressed? Overwhelmed? GO OUTSIDE and BREATHE! Mindfulness and nature-connectedness are associated with benefits such as decreasing stress levels, anxiety, and rumination while increasing self-compassion and self-esteem. The findings from this study impact students' mental health and inform teaching practices and curriculum development while highlighting nature's importance in our lives.
