Summary

We present participatory design
efforts involving high school students, teachers, informal science educators, and
researchers in developing an AI-integrated, environmental science curriculum. We ask:
How might we position students to create more complex systems models that reflect
how climate change will impact the local marine ecosystems, and integrate
communities' perspectives?
