Examining Youth-to-Educator Intergenerational Learning in Environmental Education

Summary

To understand youth-to-educator intergenerational learning, in-depth semi-structured interviews with college aged environmental educators from a residential outdoor camp for elementary students were conducted. Findings indicate that youth-to-educator intergenerational learning does occur in several ways for the direct benefit of the educators, as well as the indirect benefit of the campers.
