Summary

This project presents a novel high school education enhancement including: 1) school-based instructional modules; 2) summer research experience focused on authentic research into environmental injustices in urban communities. Research findings indicate an educational intervention provides a tangible way to engage students in remediating issues of environmental injustice in urban communities.
