Examining the Mismatch of Impact Perceptions and Behavior Intentions

Summary

We explored participant beliefs about the impact of 14 pro-environmental actions and intentions to act on them. All items averaged at least a medium impact and an unsure or likely action. However, rankings between impact and intent were not matched. A summary of potential reasons is presented for discussion.
