Summary

California has built a highly supportive context for K-12 environmental and climate literacy by integrating environmental concepts into frameworks, standards, textbook adoption criteria, and professional learning partnerships. This large scale study of teachers and school leaders provides insight into our successes and challenges in implementation across grades and subject areas.
