Summary

Sustainable development requires collaboration and partnership building skills, and teaching these skills is a challenge. We found that a scaffolded, peer-to-peer approach to developing these skills resulted in enrollees feeling more connected when compared to students taking other college courses with group work, regardless of format (online vs in-person).
