Summary

This hands-on session is based on the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) Advocacy Toolkit, which will be used to create a successful "elevator pitch" for public environmental education advocacy. Social studies and environmental education share similar advocacy goals, including an inclusive and accessible message highlighting our vital role in learning and active civic life.
