This presentation aims to uncover the contradictions inherent in outdoor, place-conscious reform work of teachers and researchers. Juggling multiple truths, the presenter will explore both the design and data of a qualitative research project centered on teachers’ experience of and barriers to education outdoors in a large urban school district.
