Summary

This session will explore how student expectations, influenced by teachers’ communication and actions, affect students' experiences and learning outcomes in a nature-based learning program. It will unpack the expectations and experiences of 140 elementary school children in the program and highlight practical strategies for aligning nature-based experiences with learning goals.
