Wed, November 6, 11:15am to 12:15pm, Westin Pittsburgh, Westmoreland

Session Submission Type: Research Roundtable

Summary

This autoethnographic account reflects on the lived experiences of a marine environmental educator navigating partnerships and collaboration in environmentally impactful student projects. Employing collaborative reflexivity, we make sense of eight years of practice that included planting 13000 mangroves. Emerged themes including the 'plight' of collaboration building, and avoiding greenwashing and cooptation.
