Objectives: To describe and evaluate the factors associated with pharmacy student knowledge and comfort on how to communicate, to prevent, and to manage medication errors.
Results: 93 students completed the survey (90% response rate). Nearly 80% reported not receiving training on how to communicate medication errors. More sufficient training was related to greater knowledge on communication of medication errors (p<0.001). Knowledge was also significantly associated with greater student comfort in communication of medication errors (p<0.05).
