This study examined the effect of babies' experience with television in their learning from it. We attempted to teach novel words and action via their mothers live, mothers on video or a stranger on video. Babies with television experience imitated more than their no expereince peers but did not learn more words. Also, babies with television experience learned more from mothers on video than from strangers on video.
