Abstract

Questions of faith and religious conviction in a world of difference need the scholarly contributions of those working in the domain of religious communication. The scholarship offered by the religious communication association offers questions of the transcendent meeting complex human realities of everyday life, questions that defy easy answers. Challenges include the occasional assumption that questions of a religious nature cannot be addressed with scholarly rigor, challenges that are met over and over again with the outstanding scholarship of those pursuing questions of communication and religion.
