Interpersonal Communication: Justice and the Neighbor

Abstract

Levinas uses the metaphor of neighbor as central to his work. This essay
will introduce the importance of neighbor for understanding justice
interpersonally. The impetus for this analysis is Levinas. The essay,
however, will provide and intellectual tracing of the union of justice and
consideration of the neighbor. This essay will frame interpersonal
communication within an expanded view of relationship.
