Abstract

Engaged scholarship can have immense impact on students’ learning and practical application in future careers. Participating in campaigns can take students beyond textbooks and the classroom to the professional world. Providing students the opportunity to apply theory to practice can ensure lasting partnerships with academics and practitioners, closing the gap between theory and practice. Teachers can help students participate in designing and implementing campaigns in the classroom by learning from current campaigns with pedagogical foundations.
