Session Submission Type: Panel Discussion
2009 marks the twenty-first anniversary of the Women's Studies in Communication issue in which a small group of scholars answered the question, "What Distinguishes/Ought to Distinguish Feminist Scholarship in Communication Studies?" Since then, feminist scholarship has seen successes, identified persistent and unresolved issues, and raised new questions. In this program, scholars will address their definitions of feminism, the ways they enact feminism their scholarship, and the contributions this makes to feminism and feminist communication scholarship.
