Session Submission Type: Panel Discussion
Because critical pedagogues strive to avoid oppression, the discussions among communication scholars and pedagogues spend minimal time instructing others how to do critical pedagogy. As such, the current dialogue focuses on the problem rather than the solution. This discussion brings together a variety of communication educators and scholars in an attempt to move that dialogue forward, to try to help others find the critical in their own classroom practices, and to embrace their critical pedagogy practices.
