Session Submission Type: Panel Discussion
Nearly thirty years after the introduction of organizational rhetoric to our field, we are still carving out its niche. What challenges do we still face? How do we deal with the multiple organizational voices? How do we avoid reducing rhetoric to a technique? How is the rhetorical criticism of organizations similar to and different from critical discourse analysis? This panel hopes to address these, and other, questions about the state and future of organizational rhetoric.
