Session Submission Type: Panel Discussion
Conflict coaching is an innovative one-on-one process to develop a client's conflict understanding, interaction strategies, and/or interaction skills. Campus ADR systems emphasize mediation and arbitration and yet many disputants need individualized support. The Comprehensive Conflict Coaching model is the only such model based in communication theories of conflict process. This panel will present the theoretical basis of this model and discuss its use in several campus ADR programs and professional education systems.
