Abstract

Movements toward Positive Psychology and Positive Organizational Scholarship can provide models for a corresponding movement within the Communication discipline. Panelists will explore prospects for and challenges to Positive Organizational Communication Scholarship, define and chart the domain of Positive Organizational Communication Scholarship, draw attention to extant scholarship focusing on positive organizational communication phenomena, and propose research strategies capable of establishing the study of positive organizational communication on a strong foundation.
