Session Submission Type: Panel Discussion
In the interest of “building bridges,” NCA’s newest interest group—Economics, Communication, and Society—proposes a 2 hour and 40 minute roundtable that will be co-sponsored by multiple NCA divisions. The overarching objective will be to formulate a more coherent and nuanced understanding of how the economy has been addressed, explained and articulated across communication studies and to test ideas for the viability of a new NCA division.
