Womentoring Session II

Abstract

The Women's Caucus invites you to attend one, two, or all three of our Womentoring sessions, which bring together scholars from all phases of their careers to discuss issues of common concern, to ask questions, and to seek advice from one another. These sessions offer an alternative to traditional styles of academic mentorship by reinforcing the self as an important part of one's academic identity. Topics covered at these informal discussion sessions typically include: work/life balance issues, the job search process, tenure and promotion, gender equity concerns, and many others.
