Black Studies in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Abstract

The proposed presentation looks at the orientation of Black Studies in the Age of Artificial Intelligence with a focus on the image of Black people as currently seen in the social science literature. The objective of this presentation is to ask how we might more effectively utilize the tools of AI to address the issues of racism and its demise contrasted with what now is more attention on the consequences of racism than on ending racism itself.
