Abstract

This is co-authored paper that examines the impact of anti-woke legislation from the perspective of Black Studies scholars working as faculty/administrators, as well as the impact on student learning and education. This is a preliminary analysis of how anti-woke legislation impacts the ways in which Black Studies is taught in Texas and Illinois.
