The study investigates the existence of a Generic problem-solving concept in PISA 2012 Computer-based assessment constructs. It argues for its existence in PISA 2012 Mathematics, Digital Reading, and Creative PS assessments, supported by skill audits of 38 released items. Findings suggest an underlying, generic PS competence across these domains.
