Comparing CUSUMs using Z-scores and Model-Based Residuals for Detecting Aberrant Responses

Abstract

This study aims to compare the performance of two types of CUSUM procedures, traditional CUSUM using Z-scores and CUSUM using model-based residuals, and to evaluate how UB/LB thresholds, detection rates and detected outliers differ when applying these procedures under various conditions of test length and sample size.
