Abstract

While traditional IR theory has centered inter-state war, regional specialists usually focus on civil wars and human security issues. This presentation builds on the presenter’s research on Colombia (and other countries) to offer suggestions on how to analyze and theorize about the domestic-international nexus in Latin American IR.
