This study examines the connections between geometric visualization and equal partitioning for early fraction learning. We conducted a systematic review of 5,017 papers narrowed to 47 studies, with six analyzed in depth. Findings highlight that geometric visualization, and spatial reasoning enhances partitioning by improving students' ability to manipulate fractions, recognize proportional relationships, and develop conceptual understanding. Despite its benefits, research explicitly linking these concepts remains limited, calling for further exploration in fraction education.
