Integrative Statement
Fetal, Infant & Adolescent Neural Connectivity: Consideration of Methodology, Special Populations, & Implications for Learning & Development: This group of papers focuses on developmental neural connectivity, beginning in the fetal period, and including in infancy and adolescence. Paper 1 will present data on fetal functional neural connectivity. Paper two will examine the effects of maternal anxiety during early pregnancy and subsequent infant brain connectivity. Paper three will test the dual process model in typically developing adolescents, and paper 4 will examine alterations in connectivity in adolescents who were internationally adopted.
