Session Type: Paper Session
Longitudinal data analytic methods are central to developmental science. This panel presents recent developments in frontiers of longitudinal data analysis. These include how to conduct trajectory analyses when instruments change over the time period studied; longitudinal social network analysis; modeling discrete life events' relationships to growth trajectories; and developments in the analysis of cumulative longitudinal risk.
Construct Validity of Developmental Risk Indices: Testing Theoretical Conjectures - Presenting Author: Keith F Widaman, University of California
Individual Change and the Onset of Significant Life Events: Methods, Models, and Assumptions - Presenting Author: Katerina Marcoulides, Arizona State University; Kevin John Grimm, Arizona State University
Specifying growth curve and trajectory models when the measurement instrument changes with age - Presenting Author: Andrew Pickles, King's College London; Rachael Bedford, King's College London; Jonathan W Hill, University of Manchester; Helen Sharp, University of Liverpool
Using Longitudinal Social Network Modeling (SIENA): Advantages and Considerations - Presenting Author: Kim Pattiselanno, University of Groningen
