These studies examine contextual factors that determine the rates of occurrence as well as the behavioral correlates of peer victimization. A variety of methodologies (e.g., behavior observations, social network modeling, peer nominations) are used to characterize how the relationships and experiences of victimized children vary within diverse developmental and social contexts.
